Fertillery

About 2 miles east of Sawtell Peak, Idaho, locals like to tell each other stories about a nameless fiend with a labyrinthian circulatory system. Of course, you'd only know this to be true if it deemed you worthy of keeping it satiated. Rumors say it's recently grown a violent taste for Churnips. Naturally, *someone* needs to answer the call.

A game made in under 96 hours for the GMTK 2024 Game Jam. 

HOW TO PLAY

You are a STOCKY FARMER. Use WASD to move.
You can grab/dash to pick items up using SHIFT, RIGHT CLICK, or the SPACEBAR, and toss them towards your reticle using LEFT CLICK.

When the game begins, a THE DEVICE will dispense FERTILLERY SEEDS. When thrown into holes in the ground, a small CHURNIP will sprout approximately 2 seconds later. Periodically, DRIPLETS will fall from the sky and follow you in droves. Toss them on top of CHURNIPS to grow them up to 5 times or prematurely sprout them from the soil. 

The goal of the game is to feed the ever-present FIEND on stage right, before it gets tired of you and turns the planet into its next chew toy.
